Reviews of Harai Judo & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Dojo

My child has ADHD and ADD with behavioral issues. I thought that putting them in a martial arts would be a good thing. Turns out it was one of the best decisions I’ve made. The Staff at Harai Dojo cares about each and every student. Some days I wonder where the Coaches get the strength to deal with so many kids with various issues or just kids being kids.

It’s not for everyone I’m sure, but I’m glad I enrolled my student !!

I had my kids try the 2 week free trial they offer and they loved it. My kids were being bullied at school and needed some encouragement and positive people around them. Sensei Jim and Sensei Annette along with all the Sensei, Professors and Coaches they have, make it a positive environment and has taught my kids to be more outgoing and have a sense of pride. Harai Dojo goes over bullying and how to stand your ground and letting the kids know it’s ok to say NO or STOP.

Nothing but respect for what they do and for the low class prices. Can’t be beat !!!

My kids are super shy and seriously lacked self confidence/self esteem. They've been with Sensei Jim for the past 3 years. We followed him from his old dojo to his new dojo ! My kids enjoy the workouts and learning new techniques. They are less shy and have lots of self confidence now !!

The instructors are extremely well qualified and very welcoming to all skill levels .

Please come by and take a free class !! Sensei Jim Harai and Professor Aaron Martin are very knowledgeable in their craft !! It is a fun class that teaches you the best of both worlds in grappling.
