Hakkoryu Jujutsu is a traditional Japanese style, headquartered in Omiya, Japan. Most of our students have a foundation in the martial arts, such as karate, which Hakkoryu builds upon. However, we can also provide, or review, basic martial art skills. We accept mature teenagers through adults (jujutsu is not appropriate for children).
In our classes, we practice the "waza" as proscribed by the honbu. However, we also practice the practical application of the techniques for self-defense.
Our instructors have studied for many years under Kaiden Sandaikichu Judan Shihan Jesus Bonilla.
