Atlanta School of Aikido has been teaching Aikido at the Concourse since 1994. www.atlantaaikido.com
Larry Feldman, the Chief Instructor has been studying and teaching Aikido since 1978, and was promoted to 6th degree black belt in 2015.
The style of Aikido includes bokken (wooden sword) and Jo (staff) practice as well as Ki development. The style is based on Koichi Tohei's Ki Society teachings and Shizuo Imaizumi's Shin Budo Kai instruction.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Atlanta School of Aikido:
No contracts. No fees for testing.
Classes are held Monday/Wednesday/Thursday 8-9:30 PM Sat.12:30-2:30.
Fees are $70/monthly, $45/monthly for students and law enforcement.
There is no children's class per se, but we have taught children generally starting at age 13 or above.
