I have trained at 4 other schools over the last 20 years and this is the best one so far. All schools that I trained at had Korean masters that did the training. This school has much more fast and explosive techniques.
I have been a student since July 2011 and I am grateful for the quality of instruction by my Instructor Master Kim. When I first started, I was very uncoordinated, but after several months, I am beginning to feel less uncoordinated and more focused on making sure my forms, etc. are performed well. Master Kim is a great instructor and not once has he ever made me feel bad about how I am doing something, but rather takes the time to stop and work with each person or will allow me the opportunity to do a kick or punch over and over again until I feel comfortable. I highly recommend USA Taekwondo Academy to anyone wanting to learn Taekwondo and to practice the importance of teamwork, camaraderie and self-discipline.
