Dan is one of the best and true Martial Arts instructors I have ever had the pleasure to know. I have known him for 24 years and he is always a class act. You will always learn from him as he pushes himself to new levels. Not resting on your laurels is the mark of the true artist.

Mr. Sullivan was thorough and careful in teaching an overview of Bartitsu over a period of three months.

I have watched Mr. Sullivan teach Kendo for over a year now & I am always impressed with the quality of his teaching. He has the ability to develop a great re-pore with each of his students.

This was a great class 10 weeks of learning how to do basic Bartitsu moves learning how to protect the yourself using hands, arms, legs and a walking cane. The instructor was very knowledgeable, skilled, and for me most important patient. He encouraged me and guided me to in my training in a most excellent manor. This was a small class which enabled me to the individual training I needed. Being a senior citizen I found this class very in powering. Daniel is a wonderful instructor.

I was fascinated by Kendo for many years. When I found STA I found a school that provided the finest Kendo instruction in a fun, casual atmosphere. I am so glad I found STA. No Kendo is more than just an interest; it has become a way of life.

I have known Sullivan Sensei since 2009, and began my kendo training with him in 2011. Since my shodan test, I have been able to assist during classes.

Mr. Sullivan is understanding, patient, and consistent. He has has thoroughly researched kendo technique, and his curriculum. He is always available to answer questions.
