Our Academy provides an integrated course schedule of Hapkido training, learning through exploration of martial skills, philosophy and methods of personal growth. In every martial arts class we emphasize the strategies and processes involved in understanding the Sinmoo Hapkido "Anu Kwan" Method. We create a unique opportunity and fulfilling training experience.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Sinmoo Martial Arts Academy:
Sinmoo Hapkido Anu Kwan emphasizes the higher mental aspect of Hapkido and true functional efficacy of Hapkido techniques based on redirection and controlling an opponents balance and energy. Meditation, Weapon Training and Philosophy are all part of Sinmoo Anu Kwan training.
We are a true self-defense protection style modeled after the line of great masters that have preceded us in history. We train and study using the traditional ways. We are not a sport so we do not complete in tournaments but we hone our skills to be extremely effective in a real situation.
