Seung-Ni martial arts is by far the best and most professionally run school in Traverse city. The instructors at Seung-Ni are passionate and highly motivated in teaching martial arts. More than enough space and all the equipment you will ever need for training. If you live in the area and wan't the best quality martial arts training, this is the place to be. The other "dojos" in the area are dirty and small. The instructors at the other places try and get you to sign a lengthy contract before even stepping on the floor. Also the masters at other schools seem to be a little out of shape and not that clean. Seung-Ni has affordable prices and a flexible schedule.

Seung-Ni has something for everyone of all ages, and the instruction is very direct and it is clear to experience the dedication that Master Kevin Shoults and his staff offer to every student. It is a safe,clean, and respectable setting. I have been attending Seung-Ni for over six years and have experienced a remarkable amount of martial arts training, as well life lessons. It's a very special place for me and based on my experiences in other martial arts academies and gyms, Seung-Ni offers the most beneficial training and atmosphere. My two sons and I are always looking forward to our next class, and you can not find someone more personable and devoted to the arts than Master Shoults. Unless of course you train with Dan or Tony at Seung-Ni.

I love this place! I take the fitness classes here. I have been to almost every gym in Traverse city and none of them compare to this one. The instructors actually take the time to get to know you. Even the people that come in for the classes are super friendly, and challenging. The classes really challenge you. I honestly would never go anywhere else after coming here. It is amazing.

We were looking for an activity for our two boys that would help with respect for each other. We heard about Master Kevin and the Seung Ni and thought we would give it a try. Our boys have been training here over 3 years now and have earned their Black Belts in Tae Kwon Do. They have become stronger, more focused and self confident.

Master Kevin and the other Black Belt instructors are very knowledgeable, positive and make learning fun. We would recommend Seung Ni to everyone!

The instructors are great, very availiable to help you in the areas you're haviing difficulty with, and the atmosphere is so motivational.
