My family and myself are part of SEMA for 5 years . We still learning new things. SEMA is an extension of my family. Soke have more than 30 years teaching martial Arts. Very good with the kids and with the kids's families.

I love the way they teach the children, and how involved they are with their students families!!

We were looking for a traditional Japanese martial arts school. We tried several other dojos and nothing seemed to have the aura of authenticity that we wanted for our daughter. We happened across SEMAA and knew right away that this was the place for us. They teach in a way that helps to develop strength of character along with the physical practice, while still keeping it fun. (I even think Soke is having as much fun as the kids!) The "family" is warm and inviting. They purposely keep the cost down so that it is affordable and there are no hidden extra costs (belts, etc. are included!). This is not a money making machine. They created this place out of love of the art and it shows!

SEMA is a great place to learn martial arts. The instructors are great with kids and have made the dojo a warm and welcoming place that all can learn with out fear or ridicule. The art of Shisei Ryu has helped my daughter Stephanie to come out of her shell, when she started with the art she was so shy she wouldn't even bow in to class but within weeks she gained so much confidence and now a year later she is a outgoing happy girl. She can not wait to go to the dojo and learn. My other daughter is now a student too and she has so much fun and both girls can't wait for class. I also am a student in the adult program and I can say that this dojo is a major part of my family life and we love it.

I love this school. I would recommend it to all Martial arts students. If you want a school for you child that traditional, this is it. They learn so much more than just Kicks and Punches. We love that it's affordable too.
