This school has a legitimate 3rd degree judo black belt from the USJA Joseph wells, he is also a level 2 coach and has a safe sport cert from Team USA. If you're looking for real judo and want legitmate rank this is where to find it. The school has changed it name to SAGA Judo because it's now apart of SAGA Combat of Lincolnton and it's hour on Saturday are from 9am to 10:30am . I have taking judo with Mr. Wells for over three years . He teaches judo for the love of the Art and sport . Scott White the owner of SAGA Combat doesn't pay him anything for his hard work, but maybe I shouldn't talk about that because I don't know everything that's just what I have been told . We pay Scott 55$ a month and it all goes to Scott . That's the only bad thing that I have to say . The good thing is that Joe put his all into his judo and we learn alot .

They have three black belts that are certified coaches and are very knowledgeable in traditional kodokan judo. One thing that I like about this school is the Martial art rank that you can earn at this school comes from the US Judo Association . For those that don't know much about martial arts there are a lot of schools out that give dojo rank from a self proclaimed black belt from a made up style of a well known art . This type of rank is only good a that one school as long a it stays open . If you want real rank this school is one of the only school in Lincolnton that offers it .
