Reviews of Rocky's Dojo and Gym Inc

When my son started he was very shy and lacked confidence. Now his confidence is thru the roof. He does presentations in front of a whole gym room and his teachers say he's the first to raise his hand. Rocky has helped him with all of this.

My boys (ages 5 & 7) absolutely love coming to Rocky's Dojo. They are having a lot of fun working with Master Rocky and Sensei Chris, and the higher - level students who come to help out are great, too. It's been good experience for them all-around, and fun to see their excitement when they bring new skills home and practice even on their off days. They especially love coming to the bonus sparring sessions on the weekend!

I love bringing my 6 year old son to his karate lessons. My son enjoys the training he is receiving. He has improved greatly with balancing and core strength. My son has developed new skills and is training consistently to earn his yellow belt. We enjoy the karate tournaments very much; my son's favorite part of the tournaments is the sparring competition.

We love Rocky's ! Our son has been going here for a couple of years and we have really seen his confidence grown. All of the instructors are great, they have high expectations for the students and they also incorporate fun in their classes. I highly recommend Rocky's Dojo and Gym!

Rocky's is great. Our 5 year old has been doing karate w/ Rocky for 2 years. The senseis are amazing. They are very patient and are great with keeping the kids focused while having fun. The older, more experienced students are amazing too, they help and guide the younger ones. Its a great environment all around. Would absolutely recommend Rocky's dojo.

I started kickboxing classes as an adult and couldn't be happier. I'm being challenged, but also shown patience in learning technique. Every trainer has made me feel very comfortable and worthy of their time and attention. The level of training that I'm receiving is outstanding. Thank you!

My twin daughters started karate with Master Rocky through a park district class, and they enjoyed it so much that we signed up and continued with the classes at the dojo. After the first year of taking classes on and off, depending on our schedule, little sister decided to join as well, so the enjoyment of karate has become a family experience. The class times are convenient and flexible. Master Rocky and the other senseis have been great teachers, helping the students learn discipline of the body and the mind. Karate is not just a physical sport, but also a way of learning to conduct yourself with honor and pride. Master Rocky and the other senseis have a great relationship with the students, and classes have been a truly positive experience.

Rocky's Dojo has always been a positive uplifting enviornment, especially after a long day. No other gym in the area has the equipment and running hours that this gym offers, plus the training Rocky provides as a professional veteran in the fight game. Makes this gym number one on my list.

We started our 5 year old son here at Rocky's Dojo about a year now and he has never been so focused on anything else like he is with karate. He has made such a huge transformation since starting karate here at Rocky's Dojo with his maturity level when participating in all curricular activities. I truly believe it is the unique style of regiman training and teaching that will keep bringing my son to the next level in this martial art as well as life.
