Hello, I had the good fortune to be a student of Guru Dave for 18 months. Over the years I had taken a myriad of different martial arts from a variety of teachers, some good, some bad. But I must say that I learned more in 18 months with Guru Dave than I did with all other styles combined. If you want to learn to defend yourself with something that is easy to learn and is very street applicable then take a look at this. I was a student 10 yrs. ago (I'm 72) and I still do the jurus I learned. ....Thank You Guru Dave. ..(guys & girls, this is Jason Bourne shit)

Guru Dave Jugan teaches in a friendly, professional and very thorough manner. I highly recommend this school to anyone interested in learning silat.

Guru Dave is a well rounded instructor that has a special way with instructing children. Even my 5 year old is learning this unique art. This art is all about control and positioning giving the upper hand to the more knowledgeable fighter or defender. I love the Dojo itself. The atmosphere is what you would picture it as with all the specialized equipment to help perfect the art. It is the total experience!
Possibly the only high ranking student of both the DeThouars and Wetzel Pentjak silat systems. Guru Dave is patient and thorough in his instruction, highly recommend.
