Wonderful instructors, good with kids, very clean school. Kind to parents know all students easy to understand breakdown of moves teach respect my son loves it! Group events regularly.

My son will definitely miss this place! He started in the very beginning with P3 family and we've loved it since day 1. The coaches take time out and really work with each kid individually and as a group. We looked forward to all the classes each week and what was going to be taught. Even at a young age my son was able to learn to be patient and build mental toughness. If we relocate to the area again we will definitely be re-enrolling him back in!

My experience at P3 was really great. I had been out of training for quite some time and moved since I last attended class. The instructors and students at P3 were both patient and knowledgeable. ...sometimes I hard mix to find at a new gym. I highly recommend P3 for anyone getting back into BJJ or just starting out.

Our son truly loved coming to his class and will miss learning new things. We love the new curriculum change and the way the coaches were able to motivate him. If you're a beginner and looking for some where to start, they are more than helpful and accommodating.

My experience at P3 Martial Arts was very good. The teachers are very friendly and were accepting of me coming in with no background in BJJ. The other students were also very inviting and helped me pick up the basics as I trained. The facility was nice and clean and provided a good learning environment. I would highly recommend this place.

Amazing place with nice couches nice people. My son have a amazing time there . We just leaving because we have a personal issues.

Great place for your child to have fun but learn discipline and respect as well as the knowledge to protect themselves in certain situations. The coaches are fun and outgoing and always are helpful with keeping the little ones on track!!! Thanks for all you have done for my son :)

My 5 year old son loves this place. This is a great place to have an opportunity to learn martial arts in a supportive and non-threatening environment. It has done wonders for my son's self-confidence and attitude. He has made friends his age and cant wait for Tuesdays and Thursdays to go to class.

The teachers are patient and understanding and take the time to help with any issues or challenges.

We are so glad we started this for my son and cant wait for my daughter to grow older so she can join as well

Great place with great instructors. I can definitely see myself getting back into shape and reaching my fitness goals here.

I enrolled my 8 year old for the trial class and he liked it so much that I converted into a regular membership within two weeks. The classes are well structured with warm ups, explanation of the basics followed by demo and practice. The instructors are nice and ensure all kids get a turn to lead the class in warm ups, demo etc so that their confidence builds up. Instructors encourage the kids and also ensure there is good discipline. The kids are also taught to treat others with respect. My son loves the class and likes his instructors very much. We are happy that we chose Gracie Barra Martial Arts Schaumburg.

Having a child with special needs, it is difficult to find a facility willing to truly immerse her into their program. At Gracie Barra in Schaumburg, They have been great. Not only is she improving each week, but she is gaining confidence and is fully included in the class. We could not be happier with her progress and would recommend Gracie Barra to everyone we know.

its a good place with great atmosphere and great people teaching you if you want to get fit and loose weight and get the work out you want this is the best place

When I signed up to train here they took the time to meet with me, explain the gym, give me a tour, and a private lesson since I was totally new to BJJ, all before I signed up. Everyone I met had a great attitude and was willing to help you learn regardless of your level. They do a great job of not only providing a quality place to train but also providing a family atmosphere where you can make new friends and grow as a person. If you are close by and looking for a place to train, definitely check them out!

From the first moment I came into the school, the staff, the Professor and all of the other students have been very welcoming, very helpful and the place just has an organic feel of a family. Being in martial arts for a long time I look for knowledgeable teachers, but as important to me, a family atmosphere that promotes growth, fun and everyone helping each other to be the best we can be. I've been here for 2 months and look forward to continuing to train and get better.

I've seen plenty of other places where it's a competition, or trying to prove superiority over people, and at Gracie Barra Schaumburg it's the opposite.

I've found another home and family, and they are the best. Come in and you'll find the same!

Been with Gracie Barra for almost three months and I have nothing but good things to say about their program!

The training my kids are doing here is helping them grow and articulate what they are feeling and or trying to do without being super aggressive towards one another. It has helped them focus in school and become more active it's not all about video games any more which makes me super happy.

I give this to the professor's there they are so involved in helping the kids develop and form lasting relationships it's great to see how our kids are talking and joining in on conversations and making friends. Getting the kids involved in BJJ at Gracie Barra is one of the best decisions we have made I look forward to see how far they will grow and learn here.

Great instructors, friendly atmosphere, and very clean place. I was nervous at first but everyone there does a great job representing Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. The staff is helpful and welcoming and the instructors are knowledgeable and down to earth. Also, everyone that i've talked to, drilled with, or rolled with are all very friendly and no one has any type of ego.

So I've been looking around for a new place to train. After some looking around I found Gracie Barra Schaumburg, Went through the intro on the website and signed up, decided to walk-in and see what it would be like walking in un-announced. Great experience, I walked in was greeted and talked to by a coach within minutes. All of my initial questions were answered and I'm going to be going to an into class this week. Great experience so far. I was made to feel welcome and it seemed the coach under stood where I was coming from and what I want to accomplish. My first intro class was good as well, got some background info on the art and although I didn't have many questions the ones I did have were answered, they seem to be very helpful so far. thus the reason for 4 stars and not 5, I'll update as I get more experience with them.

Gracie Barra is a fantastic place to learn jiu jitsu. The gym is very clean, all of the people that work there including the instructors are helpful and willing to do what you need to succeed. If you want a great work out and to learn something new with good people Gracie Barra is it.

I've joined a few other gyms in the area and this one was by far the friendliest with a very high quality of instruction. Some other gyms had this weird competitive thing going on between other students and the instructors weren't always the friendliest. This was not the case with GB Schaumburg. Very friendly and when I hadn't made it in for a few weeks, they called and checked in on me. That was the first time any business had ever done that. They don't just sign you up to take your money, they want you to be a part of their community. Great Place to train.

I've been training a GB Schaumburg for a little over a year now and I have to say it's an excellent school. I have never trained in martial arts prior to training at GB Schaumburg. Although I was reluctant to start, I must say I am in the best shape I have been in years and have made tons of new friends. Everyone is super friendly and feels like my second family!! I would recommend for the kids program and the adult program.

I started at the GB in Schaumburg under Prof Sergio. He is a wonderful instructor and I will always remember him in a very positive light. When he was no longer with the school I became very nervous about my training. For a few weeks I saw students make choices that they felt were in their best interest. Once Prof Jason showed up, I have to say that I was very pleased with his take on BJJ. Prof Jason is EXCELLENT when it comes to teaching his students. I have visited other schools in the area and the main reason I choose GB was professional atmosphere. GB Schaumburg should be the first school anyone looking to get involved in BJJ should visit. By a single visit GB Schaumburg will set the bar for your training standards. I know they offer a free lesson, and the people that train there are very friendly.

I have been a student at this academy for almost a year and my experience there has been phenominal! Professor Jason is an outstanding instructor and all the students and staff are top notch. I highly recommend for adults and kids. I have heard nothing negative from any of the other students. ..everyone loves training there!

The owner/director has questionable business ethics to say the least and recently letting his greed get the better of him and fired his professor which was the only draw to this location when Ricksons 2nd black belt teaches across the street. Go to Deerfield or Downers Grove location for a true GB experience.
