Programs & Class Schedule
Little Kickers - Ages 4 to 6. Program Goals:
* Fun exciting classes
* Improve listening skills
* Gross motor skills
* Self control
* Self discipline
Description:
The goal of the program for these ages is to introduce martial arts in a controlled, safe environment. At this age we do not train any contact drills. We train the basic blocks, stance, breathing and kicking.
Youth Kwanmukan Karate - Ages 7 to 16
Adult Kwanmukan Karate - Ages 16+ The style we teach is "Kwanmukan" -- Realization of the Essential. Kwanmukan represents a traditional approach to martial arts instruction that is diverse in its nature, and includes Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Aiki-Jujitsu, Judo, Aikido, Kobudo and Tai Chi.
Founded and led by Professor and Grandmaster George E. Anderson, the Kwanmukan is respected throughout the world and is considered to have a great impact and influence on current and future approaches to traditional martial arts study.
Students of Northeast Martial Arts Academy and students within the Kwanmukan enjoy the opportunity to experience a well-rounded martial arts education.
