And it does. I've seen it help young students from broken homes or that were having confidence and discipline problems. He is among the best teachers on any subject that I've ever studied under, and is just a generally great guy. Sounds nice, right? This guy will also teach you how to scrap. You wouldn't expect it from such a nice fellow, but he will teach you how to get out of a bad situation. This style is a no nonsense modern system with roots in American Chinese Kenpo. it is very street effective. He will teach you how to very effectively hurt people when you are forced to. I've studied Kung Fu and Korean styles while living in Asia and the US, and I know a good teacher when I see one. If you want to learn how to survive a bad situation in a non intimidating environment - this guy is the best in this area, and one of the best I've studied with.
