Mr. Leach (instructor at IMA) has been teaching the martial arts to children and adult for more than 30 years. He started out at a Chuck Norris Karate Studio in Norfolk VA at the age of 9. He received his black belt at the age of 13 and has been teaching since 1980. I 1997 Mr. Leach moved from Virginia to Dallas TX where he taught for the Chuck Norris program KICKSTART (formally KICK DRUGS OUT OF AMERICA). In 2008 he was asked to relocate to the Austin (Pflugerville) area and help start the program in this area. After 1 year Mr. Leach was able to expand 3 schools into 5 schools. In 2010 Mr. Leach decided to open a school in Kerrville TX and it has been growing ever since and is the largest martial arts school in the TX hill country.
