My son Luis Alix has been attending the school for over a year and I am very very happy with his overall improvement in focus and discipline. I would highly recommend (and have done so many times) this school to all parents looking to improve the discipline and focus of their kids. The schedule works great for us and they have many activities to help the kids be social and active. I love this school!!

My son Evan (10 years old) has been coming here for 2 and 1/2 years. In this time he has learned discipline, self-esteem, and self-defense. He enjoys coming to class all the time and learning something new each time. Although sometimes, he feels he would like to learn more techniques on Wednesday's class, because there are so many students that day the person teaching the class usually doesn't get time to teach us individually and they usually just teach us kicks. Pretty much all around he enjoys when Master Rod teaches the class and he feels proud of his accomplishments to this point.

My son Axel (9 years old) started taking classes 2 years ago. Being part of the Shim Myung Do family has helped him so much as a Martial Arts student and as a person as well. To start him at his age in this course was an excellent decision that I know will help him throughout all his life.

I am Violeta, Andy Diaz’s mother. In my opinion this is an excellent school where the kids will learn training, respect and new experiences for the students. You will appreciate how much every student enjoys each class and makes new friends and most importantly how much they will advance in improving their self-training every day without complaining and making it a hobby.
My opinion about these classes is that they are fantastic. These classes seem very good involving mental discipline and meditation. In my opinion the mental discipline and physical are both equally important. The studio is very nice and organized. Instructor Jorge is amazing at what he does, although I think he should reinforce a bit more discipline and order so the students don’t think it’s a playground.
