Both my daughters and I have gained so much from training here. We are all Black Belts now and I feel very comfortable with their and my own ability to defend ourselves.

I love the workout we get in classes and overall discipline of the program. I have training in Martial Arts, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I love it all.

I would recommend this program to everyone I know. The instructor is a World Champion and Master Level Instructor with the ability to connect with students of all ages and skill sets.

Three in our family are actively attending class twice a week at The Edge.

Our twins began karate at age 4+ and dad has been attending for one year. Master Thorn and his skilled staff are highly focused on developing the mental and physical skills of each class member.

It is a pleasure to see our children mature and grow with training and age. The mental and physical focus that develops with martial arts also improves my focus professionally.

We enjoy and are honored to be a member of The Edge Family.

Karate is a fun way to get in shape, learn important skills, and acquire new and exciting accomplishments. I started Karate with several other karate moms after we caught the excitement and enthusiasm watching our children at The Edge. We were so impressed with how Master Thorn and his team encourage and support people of all ages, shapes and sizes that we decided to give karate a try. Both of my sons and I are now black belts and we continue our training with all of the excitement and passion as the day we started. In the beginning I was hoping my children would discover enjoyment in exercise, discipline, confidence, self defense skills and the many, many benefits of karate and am pleasantly surprised that I have benefited from these attributes just as much. You will not find a better karate studio, superior direction, or a nicer community of people than The Edge Martial Arts and Fitness.

My son never had a interest in sports until he went to a two week free trial at The Edge. Now he goes five to six days a week and loves it. He started less than a year ago and will be testing for his blue belt today. Master Thorn and his staff work to get know their students, their talents and needs.

Best Martial Arts Instruction Available

We had taken our child to the other two Martial Arts studios in town and achieved some belts there but at each studio we felt they were just pushing our child through the system to get us to pay more. We then moved to The Edge to train under Master Thorn. We had heard that they were just focused on competition and stayed away at first. Now that we are training under Master Thorn we are extremely happy. Our child and gotten belts at the other studios but didn't apparently earn belts. Instructors at The Edge are by far more educated and trained then the previous instructors and our child now understands the techniques and can actually execute with them with confidence that they work.

The Edge has a reputation for being competition driven only, but we are not pressured to do competitions and after seeing the quality difference in their students and other previous school we understand why they do so well in competition.

We would suggest The Edge and training with Master Thorn to anyone willing to drive to the school.
