Collette Martial Arts is located in the same shopping center as Holder's Bowling and Family Fun Center in Gallatin, TN. Collette Martial Arts is much more than a hi-ya karate school; it's a family oriented community dedicated to helping you to be the absolute best.
Collette Martial Arts has its roots in the very old arts of Karate, Judo, JuJitsu, Kenpo, Chinese Martial Arts, American Boxing, and Filipino Stick and Knife fighting. In the 1940's, experts in these arts came together to create a very modern, very American system called Kajukenbo. We have recently added JuJitsu to our lineup, teaching a style of blended Self-Defense (roots in Danzan-Ryu) and sport (roots in Brazilian and tradition Judo) JuJitsu.
Community outreach: In addition to Traditional Kajukenbo, we also teach progressive Self-Defense Clinics, Women's Self-Defense, and Anti-Bullying.
Collette Martial Arts is a Family School. Not only do we foster the family ideals within the school and with the students and parents, but our school is run by the Collette Family. Rick Collette is the head instructor, Michelle Collette runs the Keiki's class and oversees the business end of things, and Christian Collette assists in the Family classes.
