Abiding Spirit Aikikai is a traditional martial arts dojo located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. We offer Aikido classes for adults and young people, as well as private lessons. Located at 1540 Carlemont Drive, Crystal Lake, Illinois, we serve McHenry County, IL cities such as Crystal Lake, such as Algonquin, Woodstock, Elgin, McHenry, Lake in the Hills, Huntley and Carpentersville, as well as other areas.
Abiding Spirit Aikikai and branch dojo are directly affiliated with the Aikikai Foundation and Aikido World Headquarters (Aikido Hombu Dojo) in Tokyo, Japan. We enjoy a close relationship with Aikido World Headquarters due to our chief instructor's time and experiences in Japan. All rank awarded to our students is registered directly with Aikido World Headquarters, who also issues our rank certificates.
We do not require contracts for training; membership continues on a month-to-month basis. Also, we offer family and student discounts. Our classes are always open for observation, or a free trial. Hope to see you on the mat!
