The instructors are friendly and helpful, always looking for things to correct to make you better. They regularly switch between mat work and standing work, and they teach new moves regularly. I enjoy going here as it seems more suited to the individual instead of some sort of the robot-like teaching machine that a lot of Dojos are.
The head instructor is an old man named Mr. Davis, his grown son and daughter are the two other head instructors. Mr. Davis is a tyrant who forgets who he works for. Dude, I pay you to teach my kid judo. You work for me! I do not work for you! Don't demand that I pick up equipment. And you're 70 years old. Retire already. Or, go to the park and stare at ducks all day ya quack (pun intended)! You're rude, disrespectful, and a total hypocrite. You definitely don't practice what you preach. After 3 months, my kid learned nothing, except to be more scared of old people. I wish I never went to your disgusting dojo. Who meets in a construction site for playground equipment, anyway? Perspective parents, stay away. It's cheap, but pay a little more for a classier instructor.
