If you'd like instructors with little to no experience/knowledge then this is the school for you.

Nice, welcoming school with solid instruction

I'm only in the area a few times a year and I always go to ZenQuest for BJJ and no-gi grappling to work off my holiday dinners. The facility is in a great location in Lenox, MA and it's relatively new and clean. I've taken classes with both Connie and Mark (the owners) and also Jedd (great guy/instructor), one of their purples. The classes were very traditional: warm-up, a few takedowns, some positional training and subs on the ground, and then rolling. It's clear that they care about their students, and the instruction was as good as I've experienced elsewhere. I only rolled with their blues, but they all had solid games and they made me work. Most importantly, everyone is very welcoming. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in the area.
ZenQuest is a wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable martial arts school. It is excellent for self defense, self confidence and healthy exercise. I have been training here for over 2 years and everyone has become like family. My children and I have been treated with respect and kindness since the day we stepped foot in the door here. They provide many different forms of martial arts to choose from and make it fun and interesting. Check them out! We love ZenQuest!
