This is the complete package. I personally wanted to learned traditional martial arts, but also learn something that I can actually use to defend myself. This is perfect fit. Sifu Yost does a great job of keeping in the tradition while still keeping it realistic and modern. His educational background as well as his martial arts back rounds allows him to teach a form or concept and then explain the sceince behind it.

Sifu Yost also hold to the same traditional values of Wing Chun. The biggest is giving back. He puts in alot of time and money into the academy and he's always talking about new growth. How the school and it's Sifu can improve to better serve the student. He is very respectful and honorable man. I don't say that lightly.

I could go one for awhile about why you should join use. Be it for the tradition, joining a long line of proud Wing Chun students, improving you physical wellness, or you don't want to be the victim. You're welcome to join us and be apart of our Academy.

Can't take competition from others who know anything, derogatory to others opinions. Hits students and applies inappropriate technics, i. e. Neck breaks and eye gouges. Lies about where he learned, whom from, claiming to have met grandmasters using stories told on their YouTube about them. Claims Christian values but admitted he switched from Taoism for 'immortality'.

Sifu Yost is excellent for teaching all the basics and advanced techniques. He understands what it takes down to the most simplified areas so even if you have had previous training, you still find that you have so much you can improve upon. His understanding of all the forms, the structure, and the movements will make sure that you can not only defend yourself, but also never reach a cap on your training. I highly recommend anyone to join, regardless of your previous training and abilities. You will never regret it.

This is a good school if you are interested in learning Wing Chun. Sifu Yost is very knowledgeable and is very patient and makes sure you understand what you are learning. I would recommend Yost Wing Chun Academy to anyone interested in learning Wing Chun.
