Great place, great instructor!! My kids have transformed and they love going there. Master Yats is Amazing!

I have recently started my first ever martial art by attending Gracie Jiu-Jitsu classes. The instruction made it very easy to understand I feel I am building practical skills and doing it the proper way. The school and program is what you would expect when you sign up for Jiu Jitsu under the Gracie family. Even after a month or two I can feel a change in confidence due to the ability to protect myself.

Yats' Tae Kwon Do is a great place to learn and practice Gracie Jiu Jitsu. I have been training with Gavin on and off for about 2 years now. I don’t live in Midland, but if I did I would train here full time. The atmosphere is clean and organized, the other students are welcoming, and the Jiu Jitsu is top notch. When I first called the academy looking for a place to train while I was on business I was really impressed with how helpful and friendly everyone was, I felt like I fit in right away. I come back as often as I can and I can’t wait to visit them again!

Initially when I started with my two kids I was terrified that I would be overwhelmed and not able to keep up. I was very surprised and excited to see how patient Master Yats is with his beginners and the Mini Kickers.
The biggest reward in the last few months is the behavior of my children. Not only are they in healthier and better shape, they are more disciplined and responsible. It has changed our lives in an amazing way and I'm so thankful.
I would absolutely recommend my friends and family to Yats Taekwondo. It's also very convenient that they are located in the Midland Mall.

jiu jitsu instruction lacks any organization

The jiu jitsu instructor is a good guy, but the classes have zero organization.

Jiu-Jitsu taught by a Gracie certified belt holder. Very technical and knowledgable of the Gracie system of Jiu Jitsu. Fun and easy going learning environment. Very beginner friendly.

Excellant tuition pricing.. nice location, drop off the kids and enjoy the mall
Yats taekowndo really help my perspective on life from respecting others to respecting myself.
Everyday I spend there I enhance my self-control and flexibility I definitely recommend yats Taekwondo to all. I joined as a hobby but now taekowndo has grown into a way of life for me.
