World Cup Karate in Linwood is the area’s only karate school just for kids. At World Cup Karate, we give traditional martial arts programs a fresh, unique perspective. While we incorporate the traditional martial arts discipline, we infuse it with new, exciting teaching methods. We practice goal setting strategies that keep students focused, engaged and enthusiastic.
We teach Sport Karate - which incorporates speed and agility training, in addition to basic and advanced martial arts techniques. All classes are based on an award winning curriculum that focuses on positive reinforcement while learning the physical aspect of karate. We focus on making every student aware that they can do anything they put their mind to - no challenge is too great as long as they apply themselves and do the best they possibly can! Our classes are age appropriate, meaning that you will never see a 5 year old in class with a 9 year old. Children thrive in our environment, and as a result they show improved self confidence and self esteem. This flows over to their schoolwork and outside lives. With increased focus, their grades improve and their confidence soars! We can attest to the positive benefits that karate has on children. Karate kids are known to be more focused, disciplined and respectful. They listen well and are in tune with following directions and paying attention. Our curriculum centers on positive reinforcement, so the children enjoy learning that they can accomplish their goals by doing the right things.
We are very community involved and love to “give back” whenever possible. We hold free seminars for the kids that focus on timely issues such as bully proofing and ABCs of success. We look forward to being a positive force in the community and to helping to build bright futures for our children through martial arts!
