Wings Academy Taekwondo Is a USAT Member School, All staff are certified through USA-T Taekwondo's Team USA representative to the US Olympic Committee. The Wings Academy Taekwondo Curriculum is developed according to current World Taekwondo Federation standards and competition guidelines and black belts are certified through the Kukkiwon.

Kid Kick Program
The Wings Academy Taekwondo "Kid Kick" program provides an exciting way to encourage physical activity in younger children. With a focus on discipline, martial art etiquette, and the values of good health and nutrition. Children can benefit greatly from small group activities, socialization, and exercise involved in the practice of Taekwondo. All classes are guided by a certified Instructor. We provide a fun, professional avenue for children to learn and be safe while building confidence and healthy habits through martial arts that can last a lifetime.
Hapkido
‘Hap’ means harmony, ‘Ki’ refers to energy, and ‘Do’ denotes the Art or Way. Thus, Hapkido refers to the way of harmonizing energy. Hapkido includes the use of seize and control techniques, joint locking, and manipulations aimed at neutralizing an aggressor.
Adult Classes
Adult classes, include the practice of meditation, a comprehensive warm-up/stretching routine, cardio kicking exercises, Poomsae (Forms), focus drills, and sparring. All classes are guided by a certified instructor. The progression of each student is monitored closely and the degree of difficulty along with the complexity of techniques varies according to a students belt level.
Weapons Classes
Kumdo
Kumdo means ‘The Way of the Sword’ and is a Korean adaptation of Japanese Kendo. It involves the practice of traditional sword fighting techniques and adherence to the strict etiquette of Korea’s warrior class.
Bo-Staff
The Bo-Staff is essentially a long pole that was originally designed as a training tool for spear fighting. It varies in length depending on its intended use and is considered a humble weapon because the lowliest of persons can wield it.
Kali/Sinawali
Kali is an art that has been practiced in the Philippines for many years and is well known for its elaborate stick fighting techniques. Kali focuses on rhythm, fluidity, continuity, and balance between offensive and defensive techniques so that even an attack maintains a defensive quality.
