I've trained in several Okinawan Karate styles but always admired the fluidity of Wing Chun. When I met, and watched Sifu Bowen perform Wing Chun/Kali at a demonstration seminar I knew instantly that I wanted to learn from him. His understanding not just of techniques, and body mechanics, but the appreciation for the arts is a rare find in today's culture so heavily focused on 'MMA' competitive combat. While the Wing Chun-Kali System is in my opinion a very complete system, Sifu Bowen's background in other systems brings an added layer of depth for real world application. I would encourage anyone from those with no experience to advanced practitioners to meet with Sifu Bowen and determine if Wing-Chun Kali is a good path for you. His self-published book "Ninkido Warrior Discipline" outlines the principles that he has come to understand through his training, and I've found it to be a great source for improving my technique.

Sifu Bob Bowen has a vast amount of martial arts knowledge and personally takes his time to cultivate every individual at his/her own level. I have had to opportunity to train in several martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu for nearly 15 years. Sensei/Sifu Bob Bowen is an excellent instructor who focuses not only on the mechanical aspect of the arts, but on guiding each student on their on path. His style adjusts to the person so that each receives the lesson that they need that day. His classes are informative and challenging, as well as uplifting. I highly recommend everyone taking advantage of his teachings.
