Programs & Class Schedule
WEST VALLEY TAE KWON DO is also the Headquarters for the
American Combat Tae Kwon Do federation. Our primary style of martial arts comes from Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do. An unsportized version of martial art, encompassing a full version of military hand to hand combat procedures, that was originally brought to the U.S. in the 1950's and 1960"s.
Several years ago we have opened up a special ADVANCED COMBAT TAE KWON DO CLASS that includes vital moves and procedures from Karate, Kung Fu,
Wrestling, Boxing, Judo, Hapkido, and some Jiu Jitsu. Therefore this special class for adult students is considered a Blend or Mixed Martial art. What sets this special training apart from many other programs is the retention of time honored, unwatered down, thorough basic training procedures, that is left out, or overlooked in most of todays MMA training.in addition to the safety precautions, that we have implemented, to make it a safe training program for our clients.
