The West Michigan Karate Academy is located in Otsego Michigan and is operating inside of Otsego Health & Fitness. Students of West Michigan Karate Academy are taught the martial arts style of Tatsu Te Ryu Karate-Jutsu.
Classes are taught by Shidoshi Geoffrey R. Spohn. Mr. Spohn is a certified master instructor and is an United Stated Martial Arts Hall Of Fame Inductee.
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at West Michigan Karate Academy:
Tatsu Te Ryu Karate is a blendef martial art system that combines traditional Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, and Jujitsu. This program covers the various aspects of the martial arts including self defense, weaponry, philosophy, and the codes of the arts.
Benefits of karate training include self-confidence, respect, self-control, respect.
We are located inside of Otsego Health & Fitness,

Classes are held on Monday and Friday nights.
Classes start at 5:00 pm and run until 6:00 pm.
We prefer student 8 and up, however we will accept younger students under certain circumstances.
Classes are offered at reasonable rates.
