Forest West started West Family Martial Arts in Woodinville, WA in 2004 as a personal development center with the vision of creating a clean, positive and enriching family environment where anyone ages 3 and up can learn and train to become better versions of themselves. As a father himself, Master Forest West understands the importance of safety and cleanliness in a training facility and prides himself on maintaining a clean and safe environment for children and families to train in.
With over 27 years of martial arts experience, Master West has trained in several styles of martial arts including taekwondo, judo, hapkido, and ninjitsu.
West Family Martial Arts children’s programs are nationally recognized. In fact, we were a finalist in the 2011 Parent Map Golden Teddy award, a nationally recognized award given to children’s development programs as voted on by local families.
