west des moines taekwondo academy has been in operation since 2002. This prestigious, korean influenced academy, is a division of chung kim's black belt academy which has been in the united states since early 1970's and is affiliated with raccoon valley martial arts academy that has been in operation since 1992 in adel, iowa.
mr. mike taylor holds a 4th degree black belt and has been training for 22 years with chung kim's black belt academy teaching young children from the age of 4 to adults of 73 years of age. classes are designed for young ones, teens and adults. classes are structured, taught in a safe manner and there is a strong effort into instilling discipline into every student while at school and at home. graded students must have a's and b's to test for each belt.
