Wasenshi Kan (“School of the Peaceful Warrior”) of Roseville, California is dedicated to teaching the martial and healing arts, with special focus on the teachings of Master Henry S. Okazaki, founder of Danzan Ryu Jujitsu. Master Okazaki, in addition to being a master martial artist, was also famous for his skills as a healer. The school’s curriculum is designed to help adults and children achieve their highest potential in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu as well as help them reach their goals in the healing arts.
All black belt instructors are certified by the American Judo & Jujitsu Federation. The school head has over 20 years of experience in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu as well as other styles of martial arts. All of our teachers are volunteers dedicated to the highest quality of instruction in Danzan Ryu Jujitsu.
Wasenshi Kan was formed as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with the goal of providing martial and healing arts training to all with the dedication and desire to learn. Classes are appropriate for everyone ages 7 and up. No experience is necessary, and students may begin at any time.
