In the easternmost environs of Collier County, Florida you'll find the fabulous Ave Maria University and Town, and a great Shito-ryu karate dojo named Wasenshi (Peaceful Warrior). In the finest traditions of karate masters Kenwa Mabuni, Choki Motubo, and Shogo Kuniba, our dojo teaches traditional karate-do. Programs & Class Schedule
Wasenshi Dojo Karate and Kobudo (an affiliate of Minami Dojo) offers twice weekly classes in traditional Shito-ryu karate-do and Okinawan weapons (Kobudo), inside the Donohue Academy gymnasium.
Class schedule is Tuesday's and Thursday's, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm. On the first Saturday of each month (unless it is a holiday weekend), an intense 2-hour class is held which focuses on advanced standup fighting and take-downs (10am - 12noon).
Ages 7 and up are welcomed, and classes are a mix of young and old. There are NO contracts, and your first week is free. Substantial discounts offered to families of three or more who train, and to Ave Maria University students. Join us!
