The Palmyra dojo has an excellent budo environment. Hardwood floors cleaned in a traditional method by students before each class. A fully matted area in the rear of the dojo for judo/grappling training. Instruction and participation from both students and instructor appears to be very intense and thorough in terms of learning the practical application of basic fundamentals. I was impressed to see students who were not working hard were required to do knuckle push-ups which appeared to motivate other students to maintain their focus and concentration.
Overall, I was impressed with the level of respect generated by the student-instructor atmosphere.
