Great training for the whole family!

My family has been training here for several years. Many classes too choose from weekly to fit in our schedule. Master Walker maintains high standards for testing and doesn't force testing every 6-8 weeks and makes sure your able to meet requirements. Rates are very reasonable. All around great place!

Not As Family Freindly As....

. . . Victory Academy while Master Walker is no doubt very knowledgeable, and as well as the other instructors they are very competition oriented, and require you to be there three days a week: two for lessons and one for sparing. This was a burden in our family! And, he won't let you test for belts unless you go to all three a week, or at least sparing. In addition, I found Master Walker to be unfriendly and inflexible at times. If you're an older student from teens up, this is a great school. But, if you have young children, you might look elsewhere.

Love Love Love Walker's! - Best in town -

There are so many good things about this place, let me count the ways. 1. Very family oriented. Higher level belts help lower colored belts. Everyone is made to feel welcome. 2. Master Walker is very approachable, actively involved in the classes and REALLY good with the littler ones. He facilitates a warm rapport and an element of fun while giving everyone an incredible workout. It's fun! 3. The forms learned have meaning. They are explained in a clear and concise manner and then he shows how to use the forms in a manner that can be used for defense. 4. I am getting in the best shape I have ever been in since 2003 and it is fun - and I am not a huge fan of exercise - but this is fun! 5. Sparring is awesome! There is something immensely gratifying about punching and kicking someone in a controlled environment. 6. My kids and I are in class together and we laugh. It is such a great family activity; I feel closer to my kids and we help each other learn our forms and one steps. 7. There are no high pressure sales tactics. Before committing, my family and I got to try it for 2 weeks to make sure it was right for us. I highly recommend Walker's.

Being a long time student of the arts it took me a long time to find a school that i felt would fit for me and my son. I checked out all the schools in town and decided on Walkers. I could not have made a better choice 6 years later we are still with him. He teaches the art right and works with every one no matter what skill level to help progress at a rate that works for them and you wont find a place any were that will give you the training we recive for the price you pay. Hands down one of the best schools i have ever been.

All of the instructors and students are very welcoming and helpful. Master Walker was very willing to discuss all fees. (We had visited another school and got a huge sales pitch). This is an excellent school all around.
