Our training program is both fun and serious, our first rule is "have fun" learning. You will learn self-defense that is based on Okinawan Shorin-ryu karate a nearly 500 year old system used by the bodyguards of the Okinawan royal court.
We have a 3 point approach that is based in the old way of teaching, this training isn't based or modeled after a military boot camp.
First we teach the body movements required to defend yourself from grabs, strikes, chokes and take downs.
Second we repeat the movements with partners and increase the difficulty by adding stress, our goal is to develop muscle memory and creat automatic responses.
Third, we put these movements together in a form to help maintain the muscle memory that has been created.
