Reviews of Villa Rica Aikido

I have taken Aikido and two other locations both of which were Aikikia Dojo's and this one although it is Wadokai is by far my favorite. I feel like I have learned more about all the aspects of Aikido here then I did at the other places. In hindsight, I would say that it was more like empty waza practice more than anything. I always felt there was more to Aikido than I was getting out of it at those two places. Here at Villa Rica Aikido, I have a deeper understanding of it's history, it's philosophy, it's proper form as in the keeping one point for example and even the more esoteric concepts such as Ki and extend Ki. I attribute the later to Koichi Tohei's contribution to the art which you wont find in any aikikai dojo. The instructor at Villa Rica Aikido is very patient, understanding and knowledgeable. I am glad to have finally found a dojo I can truly learn the art in.
