Victory Dojo

Victory Dojo is operated by the Nippon Budo Seishin-Kan is now offering classes at Victory Assembly of God church in Universal City, Texas, which is in the northeastern section of Bexar County. The building fronts on the Charles Anderson Loop (Hwy 1604) directly across from the Alamo City All-Stars Sportsplex, with convenient freeway access.

Classes are open to the public, and visitors and observers are always welcome. Church attendance or membership is not required for participation in classes.

Programs & Class Schedule

The Victory Dojo is operated by the Nippon Budo Seishin-Kan under the direction of Leonard J. Pellman, Shihan, co-author of Flashing Steel: Mastering Eishin-Ryu Iaijutsu and Katsujinken: Living Karate, as well as numerous articles on classical Japanese and Okinawan martial arts. Pellman Shihan has been training in martial arts since 1966 and teaching since 1989. Assisting him is John Mills Sensei, who has more than 30 years experience in classical Japanese and Okinawan martial arts.

MONDAY & THURSDAY EVENINGS
6:00 PM to 7:00 PM .......... Shito-Ryu Karate & Aragaki-Ryu Okinawa Kobujutsu
7:00 PM to 8:00 PM .......... Iaijutsu*, Kenjutsu*, Jojutsu, & Aiki-jujutsu

SATURDAY MORNINGS

9:00 AM to 10:00 AM .......... Shito-Ryu Karate & Aragaki-Ryu Okinawa Kobujutsu
10:00 AM to 11:00 AM ....... Iaijutsu*, Kenjutsu*, Jojutsu, & Aiki-jujutsu

*Iaijutsu and kenjutsu are classical arts of the samurai sword. Please see the information under "Martial Arts Styles" above for more information.
