Muay Thai, the art of eight limbs, is a mechanism that one can use to strengthen and balance the body to the core. Dan Martin's Vermont Muay Thai school offers students of all abilities and backgrounds an environment to learn basic skills and advanced techniques crucial to fighter development. Martin's style of teaching is productive and allows the student to learn simple skills quickly, thus allowing time to learn multiple skill sets within one class period. Attitudes during class-time are reflective of the deeply rooted values of Muay Thai; Respect is mutually implied to all participants. This common agreement allows students to better themselves at Muay Thai through high-impact activities such as sparring and pad-work. The sense of accomplishment after completing one class is rewarding in both the realms of physical fitness and the ability to defend ones-self. Muay Thai is an exciting discipline to study and will provide satisfying results to any enthusiastic individual.
