Venice Tae-Kwon-Do School in three words; "Simply the Best!" As a student of the martial arts myself and also a former student of Master Michael L. Hadsall I can honestly say no where will you find a better source of education in the Traditional Martial Arts. This is NOT a "Get a Black Belt in 16 weeks course." This is a full hands on education of not only Self-Defense but Self-Discipline as well. The history of Tae-Kwon-Do, Team Work, Self Perseverance, Self-Defense and control of your mind, body and spirit is what you learn here. A Christian based atmosphere coupled with one on one and team training only leads to true success. There are plenty of Dojo's out there where its possible to get get a basic training. Here you will learn from one of the best with over 40 Years of experience. You will learn all aspects of Tae-Kwon-Do and about yourself. You will learn the history, forms, one, two and three step sparring, self defense, breaking, respect, teamwork, self control and so much more. I encourage anyone who is interested in the martial arts to call the Venice Tae-kwon-Do School for details on how to sit in and just watch a class and see for yourself...

I am a 40+ year old student at Venice Christian Taekwon-do and have been extremely happy with Master Hadsall, my fellow students, and the way the art is taught. There is no buying your belt here. Students are taught discipline, respect, confidence, and integrity while learning the art the correct way. My elementary age daughter is also a student and she has increased confidence and a stronger desire to participate in physical activities since she began classes. I trained in martial arts (or so I thought) when I was much younger and now see the difference between proper technique and training compared to going through the motions. Master Hadsall teaches the why and how of Taekwon-do. He has shown me that proper technique beats muscle every time. I cannot say enough about Master Hadsall and all the students. We are from all ages and walks of life and learn from each other in every class. Master Hadsall builds on our strengths and helps students minimize their weaknesses regardless if they are physical, emotional, or only perceived. Pride in yourself, your school, and the art is taught. We also get a history of the art, which I found lacking in my previous schools. The fact that there is minimal cost and everyone is welcome makes this a great place to learn (no cost for the classes). The growth of the younger students is amazing. I see transformations in months, from troubled to respectful, or from quiet to self confident; Master Hadsall focuses on the individual's needs and adapts his teaching style to help the student learn at their pace and level of understanding. All of this and we have fun too! So if you are a beginner, moderate, or advanced student; Master Hadall has a lot to offer. Taekwon-do is the focus but Master Hadsall also teaches self defense and I am confident my daughter is now capable of protecting herself if the situation arose. Master Hadsall's first lesson is run, but it is nice to know that man, woman, or child you will be able to protect yourself if need be. I am in the Shim So Do class as well and I love it. I would recomend sitting in on a class and judging for yourself. For me the first step was the hardest. Once I made the commitment, I wished I had done it sooner. We look forward to seeing you at the Dojang!!
