We practice and teach Russian Martial Art - Systema as taught by Vladimir Vasiliev and Mikhail Ryabko. Our classes are laid back and focus on practical applications of the basic principles of Systema: Form, Movement, Breathing, and Relaxation. There are no uniforms, no kata, and no ranks, just hands-on, effective training.
The head instructor, Tiffany Lee, is certified as an instructor-in-training by Vladimir Vasiliev and teaches independently with their permission. She has 20+ years of martial arts experience, including Okinawan Kenpo and Shotokan Karate as well as Systema. Tiffany has been teaching Systema for 3 years. Valley Systema currently offers adult and youth classes in Roanoke, VA. We also offer private and semi-private lessons, and are available to teach self-defense seminars for organizations and workplaces.
