Our style’s training methods serve to strengthen one's mind, body and spirit so as to best prepare one to deal with any variety of challenges. Students not only learn self-defense skills that are practical and grounded in reality, but also develop traits which foster success in all areas of life.
We currently offer classes for children, teens and adults. Our children's classes are split into two groups: Pee Wees (ages 6-9) & Juniors (ages 10-14). Students ages 15 and up train in the Adults' class.
Goju Ryu Karate originated in Okinawa, Japan and eventually spread throughout the world. Its training and fighting methodology have stood the test of time. At Valley Goju Karate, we advocate training and educating students in the traditional way.
