This is an amazing find! This school has been around a very long time, it has a family feel however you will feel right at home on your first visit.

The instructor has a true passion for his teachings and is wonderful with the children especially! I couldn't be any happier with what I have found at USDF.

So many Martial Arts schools, how do you find the one best suited for you? From being an active student for 41/2 years I will at least give you my opinion. I have seen Blackbelts given away, I have seen students that look beautiful when performing Martial Arts, and I have many times been disappointed when sparring at a tournament, and have been saddened by the people that are proud of their Not Earned Blackbelts. This is because there are too many schools out there that are in it for the money. If you are in Martial arts to just say I am a Blackbelt, or to look good when performing and placing in tournaments for the trophies, to not actual be able to defend yourself then go to different school. You will have to earn your rank at Utah Self Defense and Fitness B.A., you will be able to defend yourself and if you want to compete they will help you look good for completion without straying the path of What a Martial Artist IS. I would never go to a school that doesn’t remind the students that a Blackbelt is only the beginning and just for your information I am not yet a Blackbelt but every day I know I am being test in everything I do inside the Dojo and out in my everyday experience.
