As a 30 year old woman who'd never studied any form of martial art, I was tentative to start. I knew I wanted to learn karate, both for personal fulfillment as well as (heaven forbid I will ever need it) self defense. I can't express how glad I am that I made the decision to walk in to this dojo! The instructors are patient, the curriculum moves at each student's individual pace, and the training is personal. The class schedule has so many options. On my most challenging week I can always make it to at least two classes. I feel more confident in all areas of my life today. I even enrolled all three of my kids and it is a glorious feeling to be able to share this experience with them!
