United States Karate Academy
The United States Karate Academy is the premier martial arts studio in San Diego and Chula Vista, California. We serve clients in Point Loma, Mission Valley, Ocean Beach, Downtown San Diego, Clairemont, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, Chula Vista, Eastlake, Bonita and National City. We teach karate to children and adults of all skill levels. Our areas of focus includes self-defense, fitness, sparring, strength, flexibility and character development. We strive to enrich our students' lives by providing martial arts instruction as well as personal development tools. Our students grow into well rounded individuals as well as elite martial artists through our program!

Programs & Class Schedule
Children's Martial Arts
Our Diaper Dragons class is a 30 minute class that incorporates learning with physical activity to include parent involvement. It allows toddlers to learn to work as a team and to follow simple directions while acquiring a basic introduction to the martial arts. Ages 18 months to 3 years old. Fun, engaging, and downright adorable!
A fun and energetic class that focuses on balance, coordination, discipline and character development. Students learn various strikes, footwork, sparring and self-defense. Ages 3 to 6 years old.
Students in this program begin to learn more advanced martial arts skills. Each belt rank has a specific curriculum with a set of hand, kick, and self-defense techniques. Ages 7 to 12 years old.
Adult Martial Arts
Our adult program is designed for students age 13 and above. We incorporate cardio and strength training with traditional martial arts instruction. The curriculum consists of forms, hand techniqures, kick techniques, self-defense, weapons, and sparring.
