Reviews of United Martial Arts Academy

So I am a Police Officer and I wanted to find a Grappling School that teaches real world application opposed to tournament style grappling. At the police academy they recommended UMAA and told me that the owner is also a police officer and teaches juijitsu for real life self defense. They were correct!! Drew Hayes offers classes that are challenging and informative but most importantly life saving. . I don't want to get into the situation that saved my life but I will be forever grateful to Drew for teaching me the right way to handle bad situations. . been training here for 5 years and love it. . I have been bringing my son here for several months after our old karate school closed up. Man what a difference in places. they are more reasonable in prices and they offer more classes and better instructing. They treat you like a family here and their instructors are awesome. So glad someone recommended this school my son loves it. . Mary

been training here for several years and I love it. . the staff are kind and the head instructor Drew Hayes is awesome. . very knowledgeable and knows how to motivate. I also have my kids here and their kids program is perfect, Mr. Brian and Ms. Allycia are excellent with the kids. . they actually make their students earn their belts and just don't give them their belt because of money like most schools in the area. . glad I found them. .
