Mr. Nichols has the best program and his instructors are outstanding.

I have been a student at Union's United Taekwondo Academy for over 13 years now. I have grown up with the teachings of Mr. Nichols, which comprise the tenants of taekwondo and principles of dokkodo. I have watched myself grow into the 18 year old that I am today and stand confidently in the face of adversity. I have learned way more than just kicking and punching; Union's UTA has become a home away from home. I am also an instructor at the school because I feel that it is important to share the important life lessons that I have learned through my experience in martial arts. One of Mr. Nichols' teachings states, "Martial arts is a metaphor for life." At Union's UTA, you will not only learn how to be confident in defending yourself, but also learn how to take on goals and challenges that life throws at us. I highly recommend this school for all ages.

We recently moved to Union, NJ. We were looking for a school which would be capable of helping me shape and inspire my child with his love for martial arts. He started with a different art (karate) before and wanted to try TaeKwonDo; after his enrollment with UTA he was very pleased to have made the choice, the instructors and staff are very professional and takes time to explain and demonstrate the proper discipline (mentally and physically) to achieve the proper results. If you want your kids to excel and want them to be more disciplined this is the BEST SCHOOL - TWO THUMBS UP!!!
