Eric Easter was my son's instructor. The school states that they have sparring rules, which they did not apply. My then 5 -year-old son was in the middle of class, and was struck in the back of the head and his back by another child. The other child was new and did not understand or follow instructions well. The school tries to bring in new students by putting out advertisements, but that then affects the quality of the classes because they become repetitive in order to catch up new students. The other child was one of their New students, but the instructor mishandled the situation by scolding and shaming my child for not defending himself outside of appointed sparring time. The children had been told previously by the instructor to only fight during sparring time, and our son was obeying. The instructor did not do anything about the incident, and when our family approached him about it he asked us if our son did not know how to defend himself. We were very upset over this, and requested our money back and wanted to finalize any dealings with you KA. The schools owner said we could not receive my money back, and But we were welcome to leave without our money. Luckily, we had placed a charge on credit card and were able to recover most of her money back. They are much better schools out there! We have found one and are very happy there. They have much better instruction, which has taught our children technique and not tyramny.
