I have three daughters and have been through the spectrum of sports. Cheer, basketball, soccer, volleyball . .. You NAME it! This school is more than a school. It's a second family. I can honestly say that 99. 9% of the people at Stars, coaches and families and kids are the best people in the world. We all support each other and all of us get along like one big family.
The head coach, Sensei Patrick Burris is if not the top Judo coach in the U. S. he's by far one of the best in the world without a doubt. Sensei Burris is a legend in the sport (He is a two time Olympian!) and his coaching for an adult in the Olympics is the same as his coaching for a child in a local tournament. He is a consummate professional and an amazing motivator. This program has made my kids into local and national champions. He stands out above all coaches not just for looking the part, he is the sole reason that USA Stars is what it is and I am proud to belong to this family.
Made me the Man I am today.

Best atmosphere and ever Greater people started going at a young age and went for a few years but the things i learn there still stick with my in my everyday life and taught me morals they will never be forgotten.
If you want to truly learn Judo, this is the place. Mr Burris studied many years in Japan. 2X Olympic in Judo for the U. S. and 1X Olympic Judo Coach for the U. S team!! If you come almost any time you will run into current and former National Champions.
