Mr. Norman the head instructor in Woodbury is an excellent instructor for children. He is very patient, kind and a great motivator. My daughter has learned discipline, increased self esteem and the motivation to work harder to succeed. She is petite and shorter than other kids her age and tends to get picked on at times. Since starting Karate at UMA her self esteem has grown and she is a more confident child at the age of 8. She is very excited to just earn her green belt.
