My daughter used to be stubborn, extremely touchy, would cry over everything and anything. Now after almost 3 years in the hands of Master Kim, she’s a completely different girl. She no longer cries over everything, she’s a lot more confident, disciplined and brave. I’ve seen so many different kids with different concerns walk into this place. Some very hyperactive kids, others very shy. Some starting at 3yrs old and other at 13. The beautiful thing about this martial art is that it can help in any issues your children may be struggling with, so if you are now considering an activity for your child or teen I highly encourage you choose Taekwondo and Master Kim. Consider this an investment on your family well being. This goes beyond just learning a martial art, taekwondo will teach your child through tough love to be a better son/daughter, a respectful and disciplined student and a fearlessly confident child. After shopping around we determthat USTC Taekwondo Ce yer in West Long Branch is the best. ..world class international grand master Kim is the owner and teacher. My son has been his student for 3-4 years and has learned personal development and the power of dedication. His grades in school have gone up and he’s learned discipline and respect. Wonderful environment and definitely happy we’re here!

My son spent 4 years at another martial arts school in the area when we decided to switch to Grand Master Kim's US Taekwondo. We have not regretted that decision! The school and staff is very welcoming to all students, beginners to advanced. Grand Master Kim is a world class instructor with an impressive background in Taekwondo, which he began learning as a child in South Korea. His experience, patience and love for Taekwondo resonates through his class. I highly recommend US Taekwondo!

The fun, respect and discipline that your children will receive is incredible. The results you will achieve yourself is insane. My daughter started a little over a year ago and she loves it and can't wait until she is a black belt. I recently started and have more energy then ever as well as my flexibility has improved greatly. The Grand Master and Masters of both schools are amazing and I have the utmost respect for them as they have the same for us. We have become a family with everyone at the school and I would not want it any other way.

Family environment with serious instruction

I have been training Martial arts with USTC instructors and I learn everyday a new skill to apply it to real self defense situation. I have a lot of fun and sweating during classes. I recommend this school to you guys who want to learn self defense.

I walked into the US Taekwondo Center in Brick, NJ last December at the ripe old age of 59. Master Jeff Brace made me feel very welcome and invited me to take the two week free trial. Its now six months later and I am still training. Grand Master Kim and Master Brace are wonderful Instructors. They're polite, very patient and they keep you motivated. Its fun, it’s dynamic and you’re always treated with respect. You learn at your own pace without ever experiencing pressure or embarrassment. You'll make lots of new friends, get in great physical shape and learn one of the greatest Martial Arts on the planet. If a senior citizen like me can do it, anyone can do it. You’re never too old to learn.

Their Schools grades have improved, this school stresses on the importance of school work.

I would not think of sending my children to another school.

Not only do both of my children attend, I also attend the school's adult class. Great workouts, while you learn the style.
